Q:  What are the benefits of attending ROCK Camp?

A:  ROCK Camp provides you with the opportunity to start building frienships and transitioning to life as a college student.  This student-run and student-led camp is a great way to start your career as a true Arkansas Razorback!

Q:  How much does ROCK Camp cost and what does this cost cover?
A:   The cost of ROCK Camp is $165.00.  This covers meals, housing, programming fees, and all materials for the duration of the camp.

Q:  How do I sign up?

Q:  When is ROCK Camp?
A:  Session I - August 13-17; Session II - August 17-21

Q: When can campers move into their residence halls for the year?
A:  Students will move  into their assigned fall residence on the first day of each session.

Q: I have a conflict and won’t be able to participate in ROCK Camp until later in the week. Is that okay?
A:  Unfortunately, we cannot accept students late, as programming is comprehensive and builds on latter activities.  Please contact FYE at 49-575-5002 if you have any problems.

Q:  Where will I be staying during ROCK Camp?
A: Students will be sleeping in their assigned fall residencies except for the overnight stay at Camp Heart-O-Hills in Tahlequah, OK.

Q:  I live off-campus. Where will I stay during ROCK Camp?
A:  To cut down on absences due to unforeseen circumstances, i.e. car troubles, sleeping through alarm, etc., we ask that off-campus participants stay together in a facility to be provided and announced at a later date.

Q:  I’d really like to participate in ROCK Camp, but I’m not sure I can afford it. Do you offer any financial help?

A:  A limited number of scholarships are available to defray the cost of the program.  Please visit the scholarship link to fill out the appropriate forms.  The Scholarship Selection Committee will meet in July to begin discussions and award scholarshps.  For more information about scholarships, please contact ROCK Camp at 479-575-5002.

Q:  What should I expect during ROCK Camp?

A:  TO HAVE LOTS OF FUN!!!  ROCK Camp is designed to engage you in many fun and interesting activities and events.  You will have the chance to meet new people, serve the Campus & Fayetteville community, identify your individual strengths that will make you succeed in college and so much more.  All students will be placed in small goups led by upperclass mentors that will guide you through the ROCK Camp experience.
