New Student Orientation for Transfer Students
If you are a new transfer student enrolling in classes in the spring of 2010, you have the option to attend a traditional on-campus Orientation or participate in an Online Orientation. Please see the details below about each option, then register for the option that best suits your needs. Both programs will provide you with important new student information and services and offer you the best start possible at the University of Arkansas.
By attending an on-campus Orientation you will:
- Meet your Academic Advisor and register in advance for your classes
- Learn about the campus community and university policies and procedures
- Meet University faculty, staff, administrators, and fellow new students
- Tour facilities and learn about campus resources

By completing the Online Orientation you will:
- View modules from several on-campus offices essential to your success as a UofA student
- Have the ability to begin the Online Orientation approximately 1-3 business days after registering. Please note the last day to register for the Online Orientation is January 3rd, 2009.
- Have the ability to revisit the Online Orientation as needed after January 3rd
- At the conclusion of the Online Orientation schedule an appointment with an academic advisor
