R.O.C.K. Camp

R.O.C.K. (Razorback Outreach for Community and Knowledge) Camp is the University of Arkansas's premier extended orientation program for first-year students.  R.O.C.K. Camp is designed to aid incoming students in their transition from high school to college by developing a diverse social network of classmates, upperclassmen, faculty & staff members and encouraging their bond to the University of Arkansas through the introduction of campus culture & traditions!

Activities will take place on the Fayetteville campus and at Camp Heart-O-Hills in Welling, Oklahoma.  R.O.C.K. Camp activities are designed to be engaging, entertaining, energetic, and insightful.  The R.O.C.K. Camp registration  fee of $200 includes housing, meals, and all program materials.  A limited number of scholarships are available to aid with the cost of R.O.C.K. R.O.C.K. Camp Adventure is an initiative by First Year Experience in conjunction with the Outdoor Connection Center located within the Intramural & Recreational Sports Department. R.O.C.K. Camp Adventure will provide a fun, rugged, and exciting experience for students who enjoy the great outdoors and all that nature has to offer...all while learning what it means to be a true Razorback!


R.O.C.K. Camp Adventure will take place in the Buffalo River area and will provide participants with many fun and exciting experiences including outdoor camping, hiking, canoeing, rock climbing, and spelunking. This program is limited to 20 participants per session and no prior outdoor recreation experience is required, but a willing ness to be an active participant as well as a team player is very important!  For more information about R.O.C.K.
